Nearly 50 years after the founding of the first Fisher Company – Fisher Sand and Gravel – the Fisher family dove into the heavy-haul transportation industry and created Fisher Transportation Company. Fisher Transportation, in collaboration with the other Fisher Operations, offers customers a complete project solution, from supplying the materials to delivering them. Since our founding in the 1980's, Fisher Transportation has become one of Michigan’s largest heavy-haul trucking companies, specializing in the transportation of construction aggregates and wood products for our clients. MATERIALS WE SUPPLY
At Fisher Transportation, we are able to supply a wide-variety of materials to our customers. From bulk construction aggregates, to crushed concrete, to limestone products, and more, we have the materials needed to supply a variety of projects. We are also suppliers of bulk agricultural products, such as aglime, and suppliers of other miscellaneous materials, such as hot mix asphalt and bulk salt.
MATERIALS WE TRANSPORT
In addition to being a material supplier, we also provide material transportation services. This includes transportation of sand, gravel, limestone, hot mix asphalt, crushed concrete, bulk salt, snow, agricultural products, and more. We boast a well-maintained fleet, ranging from Triple Ten Gravel Trains to 8-Axle Flowboys to Dump Trucks and more. We have the equipment necessary to move numerous types of materials. Additionally, we have expanded outside the construction aggregate realm to include wood-transportation services. With our B-Train Flatbed Fleet, we can transport any grade of finished lumber, pallet material, wood pallet, or concrete bunker blocks.
